Preschool Public Policy Analysis Contents and Methods

This chapter discusses the contents and methods of public policy analysis. The concepts and characteristics of public policy issues are covered in the first part of the chapter. Next, the role of public policy problem analysis, the origin of public policy problems, and the basis for selecting public policy issues are raised. The contents and methods of analyzing public policy issues and maintaining policies are discussed and analyzed. An analytical model of market failure and state failure is shown. The systemic nature of the policy is also analyzed. At the end of this chapter, public policy assessment in Vietnam case and the current public policy problems and solutions in Vietnam are analyzed and proposed.
