It covers key journals, authors, articles, collaboration networks, and research trends, focusing on palliative care, discourse analysis, identity construction, and caregiving communication. It discusses speech characteristics of PWDs, caregiver communication strategies, and linguistic research methods. The review offers advice to novice researchers and suggestions for further exploration of how linguistics can aid PWDs and their interlocutors.
