摘要

“Older adults’ help-seeking” is an important aspect of safeguarding the rights and interests of older adults. Specifically, it refers to a series of social practices aimed at seeking help, remedy, or legal protection when the personal rights of older adults or the public interest of older adults are violated (Huang and Jian in Journal of Foreign Languages 45:57–65, 2022). “Older adults' help-seeking narration” in this discussion refers to the process of telling stories/conducting narratives by older adults when participating in these social practices in order to achieve the goal of safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.
