摘要

An insight into logistics management and practices persists to be essential among researchers, educators, logistics service providers, and everyone engaged in supply chain management. However, the multi-definition and provision of logistics management practices are perceived inversely due to variations in school of thought that habitually is misrepresented. Therefore, this paper enriches the knowledge of logistics management practices for logisticians as well as non-logisticians. Logistics sectors are often presumed to be monopolized by males. However, women’s roles as mothers, for example, in managing routine household without realizing they are an unseen logistician too. The rational understanding of this multi-definition will improve communication among logisticians as well as for non-logisticians. In addition, efficient logistics management practices are crucial to improve productivity leading to profitability. Women involvement is vital to improve their reputation, in addition to tackling the gender imbalance. Fostering and empowerment of women in logistics management and practices will be beneficial in improving their competency. Tag along with innovation and technology investment for logistics management and practices toward business sustainability.
