Malaysia Space Race: A Study on Commercial and Military Spaceports
摘要
Spaceports are often developed in geopolitically stable regions that benefit the country and the user. Numerous spaceports are situated in the most physically optimal regions open to operators. These regions are distinguished by geographical features such as proximity to the equator, possibilities for launching in the direction of the east or near the east, and favorable environmental factors. There are now several commercial and military spaceports in various stages of development throughout the globe. This paper proposes a research plan to study the currently available commercial and military spaceports worldwide and simultaneously evaluate a spaceport for its essential characteristics. The researcher will propose the research plan using the systematic literature review (SLR), where all the documents regarding this study will be studied and evaluated for detailed information and requirements for a spaceport. The research outcome will be the research design and methods, so the focal point of the outlook on geopolitical factors, history, and the components related to spaceports can be further investigated.
