Following the Path of Inhelderian Method

This chapter traces a path of the microgenetic-Inhelderian method, research, marking a period that establishes its distance from Piagetian research, until it reaches its autonomy in the design of each of the components and the definitive establishment of an object of its own, where a psychological subject of a functional nature prevails. The second part of the chapter extracts what could be the parameters of the Inhelderian method, and the third part analyzes it in the light of other, more recent and better known versions. This comparative analysis makes it possible to better visualize some of the distinctive features that allowed it to carve out a place for itself.
