Impression Techniques for Implant Dentistry

This chapter of the book describes and discusses the benefits of the conventional method of taking impressions. Differing methods of making impressions are discussed, and advantages and disadvantages are presented. Digital dentistry is advancing exponentially, and the use of scan bodies and printed casts will be described and discussed in Chap. 8 . Benefits and limitations will be discussed in both chapters.
