Intersubjective Constitution of Time in the C-Manuscripts

  • Dieter Lohmar

摘要

After a short view on the development of Husserl’s analysis of time I characterize some themes of the C-Manuscripts. Husserl proposed in the C-Manuscripts the method of a ‘reduction to the living present’—but it turns out that this method is unclear in contents and problematic in its realization. The proposed equivalence of the ‚reduction to the living present’ with the transcendental reduction is only partly convincing. Then I discuss an attempt to understand the intersubjective constitution of time leading to a synchronization of the objective time in interaction and mutual empathy between persons. At the end I will go into some detail of a surprising thesis on “individual lifetime”: The subjective time of different persons can never be the same.
