摘要

Robotic navigation has become increasingly mainstream in spinal deformity surgery as a tool to plan surgical technique in deformity correction, improve efficiency and accuracy of implant placement, and limit radiation use in the operating room. Following precise steps to optimize use and ensure safety are critical to introducing robotic navigation into surgical practice. There has been an increase in the number of systems or robotic platforms that offer integrated navigation. It is likely this trend will continue over time. Consistently, robotic-assisted surgery has shown superior accuracy for pedicle screw insertion compared to traditional freehand techniques. As systems continue to evolve and technology improves, this will continue to refine itself.
