On the Geology of Plants
摘要
This chapter interrogates the deep materiality of vegetal life. Plants are not living beings on Earth, they are the process of the Earth. Plants are one of the ways the Earth moves itself. And as such vegetality can be defined by the unique patterns of motion traced by the Earth. This chapter explores these patterns arguing ultimately that vegetality is a certain becoming of the entire Earth.
