The Role of Top Management Commitment in Enhancing Energy Efficiency Through Artificial Intelligence

In the quest for the integration of Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance energy efficiency within companies, understanding the role of top management commitment gains in importance. This perspective article explores the pivotal effect of top management commitment in in promoting AI technologies and advancing energy efficiency within companies. Through a review of recent studies, we conclude the importance of top management commitment in producing a chain of positive changes, leading ultimately to an optimum level of energy efficiency within companies through the implementation of AI solutions. This perspective article stresses that the path to companies’ energy efficient use is intimately linked to top management commitment and leadership.
