摘要

This study evaluates the nosocomial infection control committee (NICC) with a view to new governance, organisational performance and hospital efficiency. To this end, we conducted action research in university hospital of Marrakesh with the objective of identifying the organisational shortcomings and deficiencies of the nosocomial infection control committee (NICC). A critical analysis of the results using the NVivo software revealed that the root of these dysfunctions lies mainly in the lack of management of information flows and coordination between the various players on the committee, as well as the under-use of information systems in decision-making. In anticipation of the results of this study, we have proposed the development of a computer tool for managing infectious risks in the operating theatre, given its high frequency as a preliminary step. To this end, we conducted a collective project, which was enriched by proposals and recommendations from the future medical and nursing team of the university hospital. This was done as part of a participatory and collegial governance approach, with the objective of establishing from the outset a comprehensive, functional and scalable software.
