Particle Swarm Optimization with PID Controller for BLDC Motor Speed Control

Brushless DC motors are becoming more and more common in the industry because of their high torque capability, quick speed, and low maintenance requirements. In this circumstance, the most effective solutions are typically in light of approaches that produce the parameters for the controller in every instance when a disturbance occurs, whether it is indoors or outdoors, adjusting the controller actions to nonlinear behavior. This paper focuses on a novel proposed strategy for PID speed regulation that is optimized using the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO). It describes an intelligent algorithm for a BLDC motor created in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simulation data confirmed the PSO controller's efficiency in terms of stability, quickness, precision, and torque variations.
