摘要

Supply Chain 4.0 (SC 4.0) is a new, growing field that is very challenging, but with the right approach it can be made a success. It involves the use of data-driven approaches to make better decisions, enabling companies to achieve full process automation, including the use of predictive analytics, and the integration of new technologies. This paper aims at providing a general overview for academics interested in studying SC 4.0, as well as giving organisations a solid toolkit for assessing their current state and guiding them towards more advanced levels. Through our research, we have identified confusion between the emerging concepts of SC 4.0, digital supply chain, and smart supply chain, so we want to address the misconceptions and provide an accurate definition of SC 4.0 that is maintained throughout the study and will serves as a baseline for future research. Our study also identifies a gap in research into basic models and guide- lines for implementing SC4.0, and presents a new maturity model, starting with an examination of the various supply chain maturity models in the literature and the typical models that form the basis for building maturity models. The new model presented assesses the digitization of the supply chain and provides guidelines for achieving the desired level of maturity.
