A Prototype Design for Effective Traffic Navigation

Potholes are a common road hazard that can cause damage to vehicles and pose a safety risk to drivers. Over the years, numerous methods have been developed to detect and navigate around potholes. This review paper aims to summarize the various pothole detection and navigation techniques that have been proposed in the literature. We begin by discussing traditional approaches that rely on human inspection or visual sensors. We then review more recent techniques that utilize various sensors and machine learning algorithms to detect potholes in real-time. Finally, we discuss techniques for navigating around potholes, including the use of map data and vehicle control systems. The work offers a promising approach to identifying and mapping potholes in real-time, which could help to improve road safety and reduce vehicle damage. Overall, this review provides an overview of the state-of-the-art in pothole detection and navigation and identifies areas for future research.
