摘要

Worldwide, lung cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and is the most common cause of cancer-related death in men and the second most common cause in women. Smoking is the most significant risk factor, accounting for 80–90% of all lung cancers diagnosed. Other risk factors include radon, asbestos, history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and HIV infection (Schabath and Cote 2019).
