Nonmutational Epigenetic Reprogramming
摘要
In addition to genomic instability and mutations, nonmutational epigenetic reprogramming is another feature of cancer that is linked to cellular DNA. Unlike DNA mutations, epigenetic changes affect gene expression without altering the DNA sequence. Factors responsible for epigenetic changes include, for example, DNA methylation, histone modification, chromatin reprogramming, and noncoding RNA (Allis and Jenuwein 2016).
