Propolis and Benefits
摘要
Bees generate a substance that resembles resin called propolis by combining the sap of needle-leaved trees with their saliva and beeswax. Propolis is a resinlike substance. Propolis is a sealant that bees use to construct their hives, but there is some evidence that it may also have health benefits for people. Bee glue, bee propolis, and Baume de Propolis are other names for this substance. Researchers are investigating the anti-inflammatory effects of propolis, which they believe may improve wound healing and protect the body from germs and viruses. However, not much research has been conducted on this topic. Propolis may also help alleviate burns and swelling. The micro and macro elements manganese, iron, silicon, magnesium, zinc, selenium, calcium, sodium, and copper, as well as vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, and E, may be found in propolis. As an antibacterial agent, propolis possesses an extra benefit as a result of the variety of its chemical makeup. The establishment of bacterial resistance is prevented by the combination of many active components and the presence of these compounds in various proportions.
