How Symbiotic Is the Union Between Artificial Intelligence and Educational Broadcasting?

This chapter attempts to take an objective survey of the union between these two important and complementary partners in the affairs of the sustenance of viable and productive human communities. The basic concepts of artificial intelligence and educational broadcasting are x-rayed with a brief summary of the introduction of technologies into education. An attempt is made to highlight the benefits, opportunities and risks encountered with a postulation into the future. The chapter also submits that teaching almost always uses media and technology in some form and while the book is a medium; the chalkboard is a technology. If a particular technology can accomplish certain mechanical tasks, freeing us up to think more deeply, that is surely a good thing; although we also need to weigh up the downsides. If we learn to collaborate with technology, then it is unlikely to replace us. As ever, the question is whether teachers can learn to use technology.
