Adapting Radio Broadcasting as a Tool Against Teachers Tendency for Resisting AI Technology

The tide of technological development in the world can be so turbulent in the sense that before you can grapple with one, another one has already advanced for recognition and acceptance. This has without doubt played out tremendously when you consider Artificial Intelligence technologies. The concept intelligence already is an abstract noun and combining it with the word artificial makes it more superficial. This can create a big information gap in the mind of one, completely ignorant of concepts and terminologies regarding technology. This could further work out against one's interest as the terminologies may become overwhelmingly enormous for easy integration if efforts are not made to create awareness on emerging technologies. Above all, it could lead to resistance and total avoidance by a novice who then refrains from making any attempt to learn new technologies. Based on this background, this paper has examined the teacher’s scenario regarding resistance to new technologies and its consequences. In order to kit the teachers up with necessary information regarding AI technology, the paper suggests the radio broadcast media as a suitable means for creating the kind of awareness that would yield and sustain teachers’ interest while breaking the tendency for resistance and total avoidance to AI integration in the educational system.
