Advancing Sustainable Aviation: Integration of Emerging Energy Technologies in Aviation Infrastructure
摘要
This chapter intricately explores integrating cutting-edge emerging energy technologies within aviation infrastructure. Focusing on specific energy types, including lignocellulosic biomass, concentrated solar, enhanced geothermal, artificial photosynthesis, vortex bladeless wind energy generation, heat pump, hydrogen, and various energy storage methods, the analysis delves into their definitions, essential components, and applicability across aviation, infrastructure, and the transportation sector. Future implementations, current exemplars, and inherent limitations are scrutinized. Complementing this, a comprehensive patent analysis of the main eight countries and a temporal review from 2010 to 2022 reveal technological advancements exclusive to these specified energy types. The findings provide invaluable insights for policymakers, airport authorities, scholars, and stakeholders, guiding informed decisions for the widespread adoption of sustainable energy paradigms in aviation.
