In energy efficiency studies, it is important to prioritize industrial processes and hydropower applications that rely on hydraulic fluids, as they are intensive and consume a lot of energy. The cooling and reuse of hydraulic fluids used in these processes is a parameter that affects operating performance in terms of energy and cost. The methods and applications used to cool liquids with high capacity and flow are also discussed. The text describes the exergy and environmental performance analyses of the free-cooling application, which has become more effective in recent years for process cooling. The study provides an analysis of the exergy and environmental performance of free-cooling application in a manufacturing process. After briefly introducing process-cooling methods, the advantages of free cooling are explained. The results show that free cooling can increase system exergy efficiency by 36.8% and reduce emissions by 42%. The study concludes by evaluating the sustainability impact of the savings achieved.

摘要
