Questioning Primary Sources
摘要
This chapter helps you think through your relationship to the raw material you hope to use in your research. Primary sources are more slippery and self-interested than most students realize, and the search for an “unbiased” source is a quixotic quest. You must become an expert on your sources before you become an expert on your topic. The good news is that many successful History projects focus squarely on the trickier aspects of the source material.
