Quality Education: A Key Component of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Education is seen as a basic human right and as a key component of progress of any country as India. Quality education is commentative for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted in 2015, particularly Goal 4, which aims to confirm inclusive and unbiased quality education and promote permanent learning opportunities for all and encouraginginter-national bonds, cultural legacy, and the equivalence of all civilizations, it seeks to assurance that all child and citizen has contact to a decent education. The United Nations (UN) developed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Worldwide Goals, in 2015 as a worldwide call to action to end poverty, keep the environment, and confirm that everyone lives in liberty and peace by 2030 (de Villiers et al., 2021).Therefore we can say that the Sustainable growth Goals (SDGs) are an essential aspect of the nation's rich culture and history and essentially reflect India's aspirations for growth. This chapter provides an overview of the importance of quality education in the perspective of the SDGs, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that exist in achieving this goal. By including SDGs into the formation of a new education strategy, we hope to present and discuss India's current tactic or initiatives with an eye towards reaching or contextualising the SDG for education, as well as their hopeful impression on the outcomes of superior training, as projected by 2030.
