Towards Implementing SDG-4: Leveraging AI in Today’s Educational Landscape

This chapter explores the influence of Artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education, focusing on its potential benefits, challenges, and ethical consideration. The chapter attempts to correlate the UN Agenda 2030 underlining SDG 4 as equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning for all with AI technology. The chapter further discussed the initiatives taken by the government of India to leverage the best possible use of AI to educate its youth and the coming generations. This chapter reveals an important aspect of combining Artificial intelligence (AI) with education and illustrates emerging practices that can reduce the barriers to education and improve lifelong learning for all.
