Monitoring Traffic Flow Using Breifcam Software to Improve Sustainable Urban Logistics
摘要
This study focuses on monitoring traffic flow using BriefCam software to improve sustainable urban logistics. As cities increasingly adopt cost-effective video surveillance systems, such as closed-circuit television CCTV, the resulting data reservoir offers the potential for enhanced traffic surveillance. Traditional traffic monitoring techniques, though reliable to some extent, have their limitations in terms of labor, cost, and accuracy. One of the possible approaches is the BriefCam software, which streamlines vehicle monitoring through structured methodologies encompassing data acquisition, filter utilization, result validation, and output generation. Harnessing this data offers insights that can refine traffic flow management, thereby bolstering urban transport speeds and elevating sustainable urban logistics practices. This research elaborates on the employed methodologies, data processing using BriefCam, and its implications for shaping a resilient urban transport framework.
