Analysis of Trends in the Development of Scientific Research in the Field of Defining the Determinants of Ensuring the Fuel Energy Security of the World Countries
摘要
The problems of ensuring the energy security, energy transition, diversification of energy sources and improvement of technologies have become a priority for science and practice today. The purpose of the study is to identify trends and key areas of research on fuel energy security by conducting a bibliometric analysis. A total of 2452 publications indexed in the Scopus database were analyzed. The greatest contribution to the development of fuel energy security was made by the USA, China, and India. The most cited publications in the area of fuel energy security were devoted to: identifying ways to create a sustainable energy system, the use of renewable energy sources, biofuel production technology, the development of a hydrogen economy, the use of alternative fuels not based on petroleum products (methane, methanol, ethanol, Fischer–Tropsch synthesis fuel, fuel cells, etc.) to improve energy efficiency. The research in the field of fuel energy security was grouped into 8 clusters: Energy, Renewable energy, Consumption, Technologies, Climate change, Performance, Energy security, Strategies.
