Artificial Intelligence Application in Remote UAV Methods

Artificial intelligence integration in UAVs allows them to significantly increase their functional capabilities in solving complex tasks in various branches of the national economy and civil protection of the population, territories, and the environment. Artificial intelligence technologies allow UAVs to perform the following tasks: object recognition; flight path optimization; fast deep data analysis with modeling of complex nonlinear relationships to obtain useful information; response to emergency situations of various origins—ability to act as rescuers and participate in the search for missing people; assistance provision; creation of communication infrastructure to ensure communication between ground rescue services and central dispatch center. Features of data collection during UAV movement and the main stages of data analysis of its sensors using artificial intelligence are described. Wide possibilities for the application of deep neural networks during the processing of sensor data and image data as input data are shown. The operation of TEKEVER Atlas, H3 Dynamics, gNext, Overwatch AI, TiPlot, and QGroundControl software tools are described and demonstrated. Their advantages during various tasks are shown.
