Best Practices for Online Education

This chapter will provide an overview of best practices in utilizing a learner-centered approach for course design, instructional time, communityCommunity building and learner evaluation that are unique to the online teaching environment. A case study will highlight examples of how to integrate specific approaches. Recommendations are given to support instructors in the implementation of best practices for online counselor education.
