The Metaverse, an emergent digital realm bridging the virtual and physical worlds, offers a dynamic stage for revolutionary advancements in autonomous and connected vehicle technologies. The primary objectives of this chapter are to explore and understand the potential of Metaverse technologies, multisensor fusion, and dynamic routing in the context of Web3-powered autonomous vehicles. The study aims to assess their role in shaping the future of urban transport solutions, particularly in Smart Cities.
