Resilience in Service Supply Chains

In Chapter 4, the concept of resilience is discussed, shedding light on its key meaning within the areas of operations and supply chain management (O&SCM). In doing so, this paper discusses the three perspectives of resilience (engineering, ecological, and social-ecological), the bundle of elements of resilience, and how risk and vulnerability are interrelated concepts of resilience. The chapter ends by providing a range of examples of resilience in the service industry and supply chain.
