A Capable Society- The Future
摘要
This chapter links holistic Capability and planetary sustainability as a strategic necessity for the future of humankind and the planet and suggests that this core idea and its impact will be a hope for humankind through different approaches to Learning, Education, Schooling and Life. This final chapter also presents two examples that will support the development of a Capable Society: The Individual Lifelong Learning Account, and the concept of developing Local Educators as a more appropriate approach to the learning of young adults when compared with the traditional High School approach.
