Lifelong Learning for Capability: In Informal Places
摘要
This Chapter examines Human Learning that occurs in what is categorised as informal places (ie locations and interactions that are not institutionally established such as schools). The importance of this learning and how places are interactive sites where humans learn aspects that are of major significance is suggested. In addition, this chapter introduces the PROUT model, which describes how learners undertake a process (the PR of PROUT) which leads them to change whilst completing that active engagement resulting in becoming a different person as the outcome (the OUT of PROUT).
