Super-Earths and Superflares
摘要
The star Procyon has been mentioned in the very earliest literature that we have, and this sector contains a number of potentially habitable worlds. One sunlike star in this sector is known to suffer from superflares, large explosions on its surface, and the consequences of superflares for life on habitable planets of solar-type stars are analyzed. Habitable moons of giant planets and Hycean worlds are discussed. Further out in this sector is the 55 Cancri system, hosting a rocky planet with a lava ocean and a confirmed atmosphere.
