With its youthful and rapidly expanding population, abundant natural resources, and diverse markets, Egypt has the opportunity to leverage entrepreneurship as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth, job creation, and improved living standards. This chapter aims to explore the new entrepreneurship trends, the crucial role of entrepreneurship in fostering innovation, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. It also sheds light on the most important measures that have been taken in Egypt to support, promote and benefit from entrepreneurship, and the most important challenges facing entrepreneurs. The chapter then addresses the role of education, especially tourism education, in encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship, and the role of tourism and hotel colleges in developing entrepreneurship.
