Aligning AI Tool Classification with the EU AI Act: A Rule-Based Approach

This short paper explores the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) regulation under the European Union’s AI Act, emphasizing the need for trustworthy AI systems. Employing a rule-based classification approach, this study systematically categorizes AI tools into risk categories defined by the EU AI Act, integrating sentiment analysis and named entity recognition to enhance classification accuracy.
