The Need for New Skills: A Just and Enabling Role for Performance Management?
摘要
In a future where climate change will represent one of the most complex and urgent challenges for organisations, policymakers and the general public, a critical role will be occupied by the acquisition of innovative and green skills and by the associated skill-acquisition tools. While on the one hand, green skills represent means to innovate production systems and ways of working in an eco-efficient perspective (Cabral and Dhar in Benchmarking: Int J 28:66–105, 2020), on the other hand, they constitute a fundamental instrument for workers to maintain their occupation, particularly for workers belonging to minorities.
