Just-in-Time Training
摘要
As efforts are made to scale effective school mental health, careful attention must be afforded to the training and ongoing support provided to school mental health professionals. Just-in-Time Training (JITT) is an on-demand, needs-based model of training that is useful in increasing learning and decreasing forgetting over time. This chapter describes how JITT may be used to support school mental health professionals. We provide background information on JITT and explain its real-world applications. We then review how to leverage JITT in the context of systems change, with careful consideration of the factors that may influence the success of JITT. We end with a case example of how JITT may be applied to facilitate efforts to scale school mental health efforts.
