摘要

The environmental ecosystems are the base of development in both developed and developing countries. Incidentally, a greater proportion of the environmental resources are being threatened by anthropogenic activities. The worst days lie ahead of us basing on the spectacular growth in population. This will even translate into a multifold rise in the anthropogenic activities, more environmental degradation, and the extinction of fauna and flora as well as the eutrophication of water bodies. For instance, more manufacturing plants will be established, pharmaceutical industries will grow at a fast pace, and all areas rich in mineral deposits will be tapped and harnessed, while the quest for additional mouths to feed will necessitate the use of inorganic chemicals and soil health amendments. Collectively, the rate of pollution would be higher than is anticipated in the coming years. Despite these fears, the rate at which biotechnology is developing is good news to the scientists and is now regarded as a magic bullet that will play a notable role in circumventing the emerging environmentally harmful externalities. Specifically, nanomaterials or nanoparticles are providing promising results, and therefore, the magnitude at which the environment has been degraded by the anthropogenic activities is anticipated to slow down. In this chapter, an extensive overview is made about the veracity of nanobiostimulants in stimulating the plant-microbe interactions for the bioremediation of the environment
