Nanobiostimulants and Climate Change Adaptation in Agriculture
摘要
Climate change is having an increasing impact on agriculture, influencing physiological processes, productivity, output, and crop quality. Climate change exposed the plant to a variety of challenges, including drought, salt, extreme heat, and cold. The use of chemical fertilizers posed a greater risk to the plants while also degrading the soil. As a result, more sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies such as the use of nanobiostimulants must be adopted to reduce the stress caused by climate change. This chapter discusses the effects of climate change on agriculture and provides information on various nanobiostimulants that aid in crop tolerance to abiotic stress. This chapter also examines the roles of nanobiostimulants as well as their physiological, biochemical, and molecular defense mechanisms under abiotic stress conditions.
