Neutrinos and the Nature and Speed of Light

An amazing surprise which has emerged in the course of writing this book and of measuring neutrinoNeutrino masses by KajitaKajita and McDonaldMcDonald, has to do with the nature of electromagnetic radiation. It was shown that by introducing the lightest neutrino rest mass (which has been shown to be the building block of the muon)Muon and the cosmic background radiation temperatureCosmic background radiation temperature (T = 2.725 K) into theNewton Newton–Laplace formula for the speed of mechanical waves, then, surprisingly, the speed of lightSpeed of light “in vacuum” is being computed. This implies that light is the result of the vibratory motion of free neutrinos. In simple terms, it implies that although sound is the result of atomic or molecular vibration, light is the result of neutrino vibrations! Thus we hear with molecules and we see with neutrinos!
