Introduction
摘要
This introduction provides a brief summary of the history of the neutrino, from postulation to first detection. It then covers some of the major areas of current research in neutrino physics, and discusses the relevance of neutrino-nucleus interactions to these topics. Next, a brief background on the relevant detector physics for this thesis is presented, which is primarily organic and inorganic scintillator. Finally, the structure of the thesis is presented.
