People Like You

An early career clinician was delivering a talk on LGBTQ+ health to faculty and resident physicians. The clinician giving the talk was visible professionally as a gay person in medicine (and later a queer non-binary person). He was excited to share his knowledge and perspective with learners. The response of the department chair at the end of the talk was unexpected.
