A Patient in Labor

A 21-year-old White pregnant woman was admitted in labor and progressed slowly till it was clear that she would need assistance during the delivery. The primary physician responsible for the patient appropriately informed a peer obstetrician about the situation. Outside the room, the obstetrician approached the primary attending physician. The aggressive approach of the obstetrician and the way the obstetrician spoke were shocking.
