Definition of IoT
摘要
The IoT is a network of physical things including gadgets, instruments, cars, buildings, and other items integrated with electronics, circuits, software, sensors, and network connections. This gives these objects the ability to gather and share data. The IoT makes it possible for items to be sensed and controlled remotely via an already existing network infrastructure. This opens the door to prospects for a more direct integration of the real world into computer-based systems, which ultimately results in increased productivity and precision (Tu in Int. J. Logist. Manag. 29:131–151, 2018). The power, processing, memory, and bandwidth capacity of IoT devices are often limited in comparison to those of traditional computing devices.
