摘要

Quality can be measured through a number of frameworks. In this chapter, we are applying the principles of the Institute for Healthcare’s Quadruple Aim to the metric of rapid response systems. Based on the finding from the third international consensus conference on quality metrics, this chapter discusses suggested metrics for clinical outcomes, patient and staff experience, and health economics. The authors examine metrics used in policy frameworks for rapid response systems from the Netherlands, the UK, the USA and Australia and present data about international implementation of quality metrics.
