Recommendations for Future Interdisciplinary Collaborations Within Transport and Mobility

This book explores the potential of interdisciplinary collaborations between Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to address challenges in transport and mobility. Through a series of experimental research teams, the authors aimed to integrate diverse disciplinary insights to produce innovative policy recommendations. Despite encountering difficulties and traditional disciplinary boundaries, the project highlights the importance of institutional support, adequate resources, and long-term commitment to fostering effective interdisciplinary research. The concluding chapter reflects on these experiences and offers recommendations for enhancing future interdisciplinary efforts in this field.
