For sustainableSustainable waste managementWaste management, best practice is to utilize miningMining waste for constructive purposes, bricksBricks, ceramicsCeramic, cement and concrete etc. Are the application of mining waste for constructionConstruction purposes. But these mining waste can also be utilized as building material as noise absorbing acoustic plates or polymer composites. Usually, composites made up of natural fibres lack strengthStrength. Hence, to improve their strength and other properties, miningMining waste is mixed with the natural fibre composites and tested for better result. Hence, in this chapter an experiment was conducted with biodegradable composites and bamboo showed better result, but to enhance its property, iron ore tailingIron ore Tailing (IoT) was added and further tests were conducted and the result was improved properties.
