摘要

The miningMining industryIndustry is a major contributor to environmental degradation and generates a significant amount of waste. However, recent efforts have been made to explore innovativeInnovative ways to repurpose mining waste in ceramicCeramic production as a sustainableSustainable approach. Ceramic production, a traditional and widely utilized industry, relies heavily on natural resources such as clay and minerals. By incorporating miningMining waste into ceramicCeramic production processes, several environmental and economic benefits can be achieved. The production of ceramicCeramic tiles from mining waste materials presents a promising avenue for sustainableSustainable material utilization and waste managementWaste management. This report provides a comprehensive overview of a project aimed at developing ceramicCeramic tiles from various mining waste materials, with a focus on environmental sustainability, economic feasibility, and product performance. Results from the project highlight the potential of various mining waste materials, such as fly ashFly ash and glass for ceramic tile production. It discusses the influence of material composition, processing parameters, and firing conditions on the properties of the ceramic tiles, including mechanical strengthStrength and water absorption. Utilizing miningMining waste in ceramicCeramic production presents a promising approach towards achieving sustainability in both industriesIndustry.
