摘要

The chapter presents the results of the engineering of a drum dryer and the study of its design and process parameters for modeling complex cyber-physical systems of the chemical energy-technological process of drying wet phosphogypsum paste, which is a recyclable by-product from yellow phosphorus production. Drying by hot heat-carrier gas is discussed, as well as an alternative method of drying by a combination of gaseous and dispersive media, when, besides hot gases, wet phosphogypsum interacts with roasted solid recycled material (fine fractions of agglomerate). It has been found that, in the modeled cyber-physical system, the application of the combined drying technology is energy-efficient due to a smaller amount of gas fuel necessary to reach the required output parameters of temperature and moisture of the dried starting raw material. This has been verified by computational experiments.
